School Photos

 School started a little early around here, as always. I always seem to get anxious to start and the kids need the structure as summer nears its end. We're not quite in full swing, but I like that we can ease into it. I must admit, I'm also excited about the cooler weather and all that my favourite season brings: hot drinks, cozy fires, sweaters and boots, fall activities. We started hitting the books a few weeks ago, just a couple of days a week, and today we headed out behind the house by the creek to take some "class photos". We had a blast!

We have been doing some review work as well as working on nouns, verbs, pronouns, and sentence structure. 

The kids are continuing with Singapore math this year, and I am impressed with how much Ben has remembered from last year. And, Rachel is starting to catch on with some help from some math manipulatives.
