Christmas 2014!!

This Christmas, we did something a little different. We counted down the days with a random act of kindness every day of December leading up to Christmas Day. Each morning the kids woke up to an envelope in the tree. Inside was their "mission" for the day...

Things like, buy coffee for a stranger, hand out candy canes to strangers, take cookies to the neighbour, mail someone a homemade Christmas card, give a gift to a stranger...we even hid money attached to a note in the toy section of a store! The kids had a blast with this and it really was a great way to take the focus off of them and got them excited about giving.

Another exciting thing this year was baby Jo's first Christmas!!

Even though he is still so small, it was definitely exciting! He truly is our best gift this year!
