Spring School

Spring has sprung! Everyone is pretty excited around here for the sunshine and melting snow. The birds are chirping and the deck is (not complete) but dad has made it usable while he's building the rest! We are spending our mornings doing school on the deck and are afternoons soaking up the vitamin d.

The kids also started writing in their nature journals daily...

Grandma came for a visit this Easter (as she always does). Ben got to do some science with these cool light Sabres grandma brought! (Kind of ties in with light energy, right??) Ben has also been working on sound energy for science.

Rachel is working on taking care of her flowers for science...

Grandma also brought these (don't know why the pic is upside down) , the kids love using these for writing and grammar!

We are also learning about time for math right now. They made these cool clocks...

The kids have been spending a lot of time with dad lately, helping paint deck boards, holding things/ handing things to dad and just hanging out...

Gotta love how this girl can be so beautiful and loves to dress pretty, but can also put on a pair of rubber boots and get right in there to get dirty and work hard ;)

Rachel is gearing up for her year end show for ballet, and she got a very exciting part in the recital! All of her hard work is paying off!

The final push has begun to finish up for summer, and we are ready for a break!
