More School

Last week, the kids got to plan a menu! Benjamin had to plan out his meals, write what they were and give them each a price. This was so fun!

Rachel did a bit of an easier version of a menu...

I gave Benjamin the names of the seasons and asked him to list descriptive words, describing each season

I asked Rachel to list some rhyming words...

In math, the kids have been learning how to tell time. Benjamin has been working on counting by 2's, 5's, and 10's as well as grouping 10's and multiplication and division. He is starting to understand the concepts. Rachel can count to 12 well, and count to 20 skipping some numbers. She is also doing very well learning addition and subtraction.

Rachel:

In science, the kids have been learning about air and water. I read this book to them...

Then I asked them what they knew about air. This is what they told me...

I gave them straws to blow into the water so they could see the what air can do...

They liked that!

Today, the kids did this experiment:
