Snow Days

These long days...snow days. There is so much snow I am literally stuck at home!!

I am on day 3 of hubby's 4-12's "on" at work, and I have one son who has the flu, another who wants to be held all day long, and a daughter with a less than desirable attitude these days. BUT I am actually enjoying these days inside, staying warm by the fire and with no place to go.

While rocking my beautiful baby, snuggling and taking in every moment!!

He is growing and changing so much and I don't want to miss any of it!!

Being house bound isn't so bad now that my house is nicely organized all over thanks to my wonderful mama who helped me get it that way!!

Every room has new organizing cubbies and everything has a place!! :). This makes for a very happy mommy :)

And, my hubby got me this great gift for Christmas...

Now I am officially a teacher ;)

Speaking of which, it's been a little tough getting back into the swing of things after Christmas break with a sick one in the house. So, there's been a lot of reading, and some other fun stuff...

The kids have been big into Lego, since the snow is so deep they wouldn't be able to move in the yard. Ben built this great Star Wars ship!

A spur of the moment science experiment came about a couple of days ago as well, thanks to a great Christmas gift from grandma...

And, I did a little experiment myself...

I made my own sugar/salt scrub!! And, it's amazing :)

So, I'm just enjoying these long, snow, house bound days. Snuggling my baby, drinking lots of smoothies and making bone broth, determined not to catch this nasty flu going around. Knowing the time will come soon enough where I'll have to be running here and there, and thankful hubby's 4 "off" are coming soon :)
