SCHOOL!

We have been getting a lot of school done these days due to the colder weather. In social studies we have followed our community unit with community workers...

 

 Here are the books we have been using for Language Arts...

We also started reading Charlotte's Web and are really enjoying it...

 

Here is the math book we are using, and I love it!

 

I particularily love watching Benjamin's progress...it is so neat to see him adding numbers! So exciting!

 

We started working on the days of the week yesterday, as well as started learning how to tell time...we will be learning the months of the year as well...

 

We finished our fruits of the spirit study last week and are looking for another Bible study to start...

 

In science we are doing property of objects: classifying, describing, sorting...there are some cute little games here http://www.learningscience.org/psc1apropofmaterials.htm

 Benjamin has been doing a weekly music/piano class on Tuesdays as well as Tuesday gymnastics. It is a long day for us in town each week, but he is really enjoying both classes...

And, the highlight of our week last week...2 new baby kitties :)

Benjamin was told he could pick a kitten and name it. He really wanted a boy kitten, so we ended up bringing home 2 boys ;) He named his Leo, so I picked Liam for the brother...
