More School Fun!

 

 

Last week...

 

Language Arts: Benjamin was given pictures and had to write the words...

 

Then, we worked a bit on punctuation. Ben had to end the sentence with the correct punctuation...

 

We started reading "Little House in the Big Woods" out loud. The kids love it!

 

Benjamin helped me read this book...

 

We worked on the "ay" word family...

Some math work...

We also worked on some fractions; first, we had to make the pizzas...

 

 

This was also great for getting the kids to work together...

 

Then, we made the fractions; talked about whole, half, thirds and quarters.

 

For science, we continued with force and motion. We tested the force of gravity by dropping objects of different size and weight to see which fell faster.
