G'day Mate!

Today we traveled to the land down under! We colored the Australian flag, and read a story about the different Australian animals and what each of them eat, while we ate an Australian snack (toast with a mixture of butter and hot chocolate mix spread: this is called Milo)...this was a big hit!

Then we got to work on our project...

...we made our own didgeridoos! An Australian wind instrument originally made from eucalyptus trees that were hollowed out by termites!

The kids had fun decorating their wrapping paper roll didgeridoos...

...and even more fun trying them out!

 Next week, we will be doing things a bit differently...
