Ancient Egypt

Today, we traveled to Egypt! We talked about the pyramids, the river Nile, Pharoahs, camels, crocadiles, Egyptian farming, food, clothing and culture!

We made sugar cube pyramids, the kids loved it!

They really enjoyed playing with the pyramids and the Egyptian figurines...

Then, we made Egyptian bread: flour, water, and salt...even after smearing with honey, it was NOT a hit!

We ended off the day curling up on the couch to watch `Joseph: King of Dreams`, which has some great Egyptian history in it. The kids learned so much today, and had so much fun!

Next week, we will be going down under...
